What a fantastic hotel! Set along the Ten Mile Gallery and by the Yulong River, the natural beauty around it is simply stunning. The room was well-kept and comfy, with a view that felt like a private show of mountains and water. The staff were so kind and went out of their way to help us explore the area. Perfect for anyone who loves a scenic escape

Absolutely incredible views from the front garden (and front facing rooms). Beautiful view of the river and the staff were so attentive when I was out there in the day (putting the fan and parasol on) or in the evening if there was a bit of rain (putting the umbrella up). The food was the best I have had in China so far- and they did brilliant vegetarian food. I am learning Chinese and the staff at the hotel helped me to practise. Very close by (10 mins walk) from one of the rafting locations. The room was nice and comfortable- great AC.

The Giggling Tree was just perfect! It is an amazing hotel - friendly and welcoming, lovely room with amazing views, wonderful staff and restaurant. Laura was simply brilliant and made some great food recommendations. Eating in the quaint courtyard restaurant area was perfect, especially the Beer fish from the Lijiang River! Great dumplings too! And the pool was a nice bonus with fantastic views. Good bicycles to rent and trips/taxis can be organised. We'd love to return again one day - the scenery is simply unforgettable! Thank you Laura! We really liked the personal touch and also the friendly and helpful owner and staff. The quality of the breakfast (option Western or Chinese), as well as the coffee and evening bar is very unique for China - especially for this place. Eric and Sammie were super helpful with everything - including helping us to book the right tours and advising us on what not to do :-) right opposite the hotel you can rent an e-scooter (diandongche in Chinese) which is very cheap and you can get around very easily. The bamboo rafting tour you can reach by foot in around 15'. Dinner options you also have in walking distance - we loved the food right when you leave the hotel, you go left and the first little restaurant on the left side had amazing food. we also did the sunrise tour to Xianggong mountain and the owner helped us to book a private driver. it was worth getting up early but be aware that there are lots of people there also wanting to see the sunset (even in the off-season there were many people). But they make sure you are early enough to get a good spot for watching the sunrise and getting to take great pictures as well. We really enjoyed our time there. The international touch and the friendly hosts made it special!

A great location, 5min walk from the Yulong River, with breathtaking views of the landscape. Super helpful and kind staff. Helped us plan our stay in Yangshuo with recommendations and tips. The hotel has a warm and friendly atmosphere. The rooms are clean and hygienic. Would definitely recommend the dreamland inn!

I'm extremely satisfied. The staff here are all very friendly and have provided us with great assistance. The room is very spacious and the view is beautiful. It's larger than many hotels I've stayed in. The breakfast in the restaurant is delicious. During my trip in China, it's finally a place that offers a breakfast friendly to Western tastes. It's been a very pleasant trip.

This hotel is beautiful and we loved staying here as a special treat for my birthday. The garden view deluxe villa was spacious, extremely clean and comfortable. The hotel grounds and gardens are stunning and very photogenic. We borrowed the hotel bicycles to cycle along the Yulong river path, which was scenic and lovely. I had a pleasant swim in the pool, a private Tai Chi lesson arranged by the hotel staff and we had some fun dressing up in the costumes provided for free use of guests. Sophia and her team of staff were kind, helpful, friendly and all spoke an excellent level of English. The breakfast and dinner was delicious and they were able to provide me with vegan options.
