Lovely B & B in the heart of Lübeck's Gründerviertel. Clean and functional loft-style rooms in Scandinavian style. The breakfast was delicious with oven-fresh bread rolls, home made jam, freshly squeezed juice, fruit and cold cuts which prepared us well for our discovery tours in Lübeck. The last remaining brewery is just around the corner and the famous Rathausmarkt is only a very short stroll away. We felt very welcome and well taken care of. If we ever have the chance to visit Lübeck again, we hope to stay at The Layhead again.

This small hotel îs wonderful. With a lot of care for details, nicely decorated but also practical and very clean. Breakfast was lovely, with good quality products and a bit of regional flavour. The host Monika is lovely and offered us good tipps. A place to come back.

The hosts did a great job preparing an online guide for the arrival, stay and check-out - all the necessary information on parking the car, opening the apartment, finding the necessary services in the apartment was there. The apartment itself is just magnificent for a stay in Lübeck. It's located in the absolute heart of the city, all places of interest are within 10 minutes walking distance. The apartment itself is also in a prefect condition. My heartful thanks to the hosts for a great weekend in the city of Lübeck!

It was an honour to be the first guests in this cozy comfortable place. It was a magical apartment for our quick trip to Lubeck. The owners were so lovely and hospitable and made sure we had everything we needed. The place was clean, elegant and had everything that you needed in the bathroom kitchen and bedroom. It was also a fabulous location only a few minutes walk away from everything. Me and my friends had a very comfortable stay here and would recommend to anyone coming to Lubeck!

This hotel lies directly on a branch of the River Trave, opposite the Music and Congress Hall and a 5-minute walk from Lübeck's Old Town.

Location could not be better for exploring Luebeck. Breakfast was a magnificent spread. Could not believe the choice. It set you up of the day. Staff very friendly and the ambiance of the place was very warm.
