Property was in a good location, only a few minutes walk from La Rabla. Was modern and comfortable. Room was soundproof to the street. Staff at desk were very friendly. Was more a hotel than a hostal.

Catalonia Gran Via BCN is set on Gran Vía and within 5 minutes’ walk of Urgell and Universitat Metro Stations, and beside the airport bus stop.

Really enjoyed staying here! First of all, everything is like in photos, very cute. A small patio with lots of greenery and flowers is very nice to chill at. The rooms were clean, AC works well, the shower is good as well. It is worth noting that the bedrooms do not have a full separation wall so if one person decides to read in bed, the other one will have some light in his rooms as well:) The big bed is super comfortable btw. The rest was just great, the area is truly amazing. Will definitely recommend to stay here!

I booked the last available room which happened to be a single room with single bed. It was the first time for me. The price of the room was quite higher compared to the rates I usually pay for double or superior rooms. As i wanted to open the window I realized, that this single room (115) had a patio with 2 chairs. That was a nice and lovely surprise.

This was the third time my son and I have stayed at this hotel. It is conveniently located close to Playa Espana and Poble-Sec metro stations. It is a short walk to La Rambla and Playa Catalunya. The staff are friendly and remembered us from our previous visits. The room is clean and comfortable. The breakfast is very good and includes gluten-free bread and pastries.

The Caledonian has an ideal setting on Barcelona's Gran Vía, just 5 minutes' walk from Plaza de Catalunya and Las Ramblas. Its rooms include free Wi-Fi internet access.

Loved this hotel. Great location but so quiet at night and in the mornings (weekend stay). No noisy bin colle tips outside. No noisy lift/TVs etc in hotel. Wonderful shower. Great beds. V happy with vfm. Would stay here again.

Great place, absolutely stunning shower facility, wonderful breakfast and nice, friendly and helpful staff. Close to all the central places of interest, though quiet and cosy. I'll definitely be back. Totally recommended! *Used their laundry services and was totally satisfied.
