The apartment was lovely. We also enjoyed the space in the garden and our boys had good fun playing football. We loved it so much, we spent much more time there than we anticipated. It allowed us a much needed rest in our travels. Sophie was lovely and so helpful. We intend to visit again 😊

I have stayed twice and is by far, the best choice as a pet friendly hotel in France while on a road trip. It has plenty of green area to walk your dog, a boulangerie around the corner. Super friendly staff and super clean rooms.

Good value for money, basic but everything that I needed

Located a 12-minute drive from Macon, 1 hour from Lyon Airport and 1.5 hour by train from Paris, this Novotel features an outdoor swimming pool and a restaurant opening onto the terrace.

I enjoyed the comfort and space, for a family of 4 it was perfect spacious. Having kettle was great too. The hand soap and shower gel and shampoo smell amazing I had a lovely bath. Very comfortable bed. I also love that the toilet is in a separate room from the bath and sink. The honey they sell is delicious. It's my second time staying here and I'm sure I'll be back.

The chateau is perfect. It is easily accessible only 10 minutes from the motorway - so much nicer than staying in a chain motel. The lovely town of Macon is a few minutes away with a wide choice of restaurants and bars. The hosts are friendly and welcoming. There is a kitchen and dining area where you are invited to prepare your own food if you wish. Cheese, bread and meats are provided in the fridge. Our room was warm and so very comfortable. We stayed in winter but I can imagine it would be beautiful in summer as a base to explore the area.

We had two apartments for two couples. The rooms were different to each other, and both lovely. The bathroom was large and the shower was luxurious. Kitchen was useful. Bed was very comfortable. Air conditioning made everything very comfortable in the heat we were experiencing. Very clean. Location was superb. But the very best thing was the excellent tea house at the base of the apartments. Excellent quiche and salad. Great tea and coffee. Amazing tarts.

Absolute 100% memorable experience. From the moment you arrive you will be met with discreet cordiality and attentiveness. We ate dinner at the restaurant (Chef Frederic Carrion) and were delighted with a burst of flavours and colour. Truely one of the best meals I have ever eaten. I need a separate page to describe each dish. We stayed in the Junior Suite which is spacious and spotless. And wow - what a comfortable bed. A wonderfully memorable time due to Frederic Carrion, his wife and team. Thank you. We will be back.
