At 9 PM, we were greeted by a sleeping receptionist. It took a while to wake him up, and he couldn’t quite understand what we needed at first. The situation was complicated by the fact that he didn’t speak English or Russian—or perhaps he’d simply forgotten them in his groggy state. He handed us the key but didn’t escort us or explain where our room was located. It turned out that room 207 wasn’t on the second floor, as one might expect. We had to find it on our own, which was challenging since I was holding a 1.5-month-old baby. The room itself was perfect. It was clean, beautifully furnished, with a stunning view from the window. There was a rain shower, the plumbing was in excellent condition, and slippers and towels were provided. There was also a minibar. However, it was quite hot, as the heating was on full blast. We ended up using the air conditioner during the night. In the morning, we enjoyed a fantastic breakfast and encountered friendly restaurant staff. Despite the rocky start to our stay, I give it an excellent rating!

The host was very helpful, ensuring apartment key and main door fob were handed over upon my arrival. The host took time to explain the elevator/lift code and wifi password for the apartment. The apartment was in a nice location, close to grocery stores, cafes, and restaurants. It was a walkable distance or short taxi ride to most main tourist attractions. Thank you very much to Alexander for all of his help and kindness to ensure a welcome and pleasant visit to Tbilisi.
