If you are staying in Yogyakarta for more than a couple of days, this place is an oasis away from the hustle and bustle of Malioboro. There a few places to eat nearby and Malioboro is a walkable distance (better to take a Grab during the heat of the day). There room was spacious and we had free use of the patio area, kitchen and living areas. The living areas are warm during the day but there are ceiling fans to help alleviate the heat somewhat. The staff is amazing - they are friendly and we were always greeted with a welcoming smile. They kept the property clean and the landscaping lush - a comfortable place to pass the day when we just wanted to relax. A lovely stay!

Our experience in Yogyakarta we owe to all of the girls of the front office of Snooze hostel that took care of us and made our experience in this town memorable. Illa, Claudia, Atika, Sasha, Luthfi, Mutia and Thalita gave us the best recommendations for traditional dances, restaurants, rentals, how to get to the temples. always with this feminine vibe of welcoming, caring and giving in each one of them that made us feel at home. We’ll miss you so much, all of you are welcome in Chile, I’m going to treat you like queens in my house 💖 And of course because we are lovers of the good food, this beautiful hostel has an amazing breakfast with two options made by the best cookers in town: Ucil, Rehan and David. With a sweet and salty option that makes the start of the day so much better, you’ll defenitly will need this because the amount of energy you spend in this city is a loot because there are so many things to see ✨ And about the hostel, well is even better than the pictures really, is a cozy, warm place with a beautiful garden, I wish I would have stayed longer to enjoy more, the beds are so comfy and the decoration of the rooms and the inside is so cute. 10 out of 10 definitely. The location was great and very convinient the inside is full of plants and very green, its a small jungle inside the city. The staff is very friendly and helpfull, we had help to book the ferry tickets and also transfer taxi and its really good to see that people still look after you, which makes the stay even better. The room was clean, confortable and nicely decorated. Another big plus it was the breakfast pack prepared as we had a tour very early in the morning and having an area to refill bottled water. There is a big issue yet with plastic waste and single use. Hotels should pressure more the Goverment to educate people about waste management and reducing the use. We see the more touristic areas being cleaned and as well hotels trying to reduce, still there is a long way to go and we just like to leave this suggestion for a better future in this amazing places.

So good. So nice. Great value. I checked out and then checked back in, even broke my three day rule to stay longer. Staff make u feel super welcome. The breakfast is top notch. Don’t miss the sandwich. Don’t miss the banana pancakes either. Just don’t miss it.
