The Hostel is a social spot with different hangout areas, outdoors and indoors. Most people seem happy to chat and eat together. The owner went out of his way to help me out, which was really nice. It's close to the beach, the cliff and a lot of restaurants. I had the AC room, which was nice. In the beds you have a lamp and an adaptor plug, super handy.

Highly recommended! Calm, super location, greatly maintained and very clean property with polite and efficient staff. We were met with a cordial reception and breakfast, although we turned up way early after having arrived by night train. We were given a small room to rest and refresh until ours - upgraded from what we had booked, with sea view! - was ready. Our daughter in particular loved the pool! Great place for families seeking relaxation. Food is good, too.

What a lovely homestay! We had a great time at Villa Akassa! The rooms were exactly like they looked on the pictures, super comfortable. The place is so well located with a great cafe right across which has steps leading you down to the beach! The breakfast was great, despite what some reviews said it was more than enough food! They gave a freshly cut bowl of fruits with our choice of breakfast!

Boasting a garden and views of sea, Kerala cottage is set in Varkala, a few steps from Odayam Beach.

Very good staff and manager! Very helpfull. Clean beach (always) and clean very comfortable rooms. I can reccomend it! Place very good for people who looks very good quality. The best place in Varkala (about 20 mins from shops in Varkala Cliff).

I stayed here on two occasions recently. The bedrooms were excellent, very spacious, both had balconies, air-conditioning. All the comforts necessary in fact. Very courteous, pleasant and friendly staff.

Very nice place. Super kind and gentle staff, ready to be very help full. Roo s are clean and wide with ac. Internet is good and there is a common kitchen with free water! Highly recommended!

We loved the calm and peaceful location. Property ,especially rooms and bathrooms are very neat and clean, AC remote battery very weak so not able to adjust temperature, you can include tea/coffe along with breakfast, and Hot water is not available in the bathroom, appart from these concern, it's very good Property giving feel like Home
