Must stay when in Florance. This beautiful Boutique Hotel is a vibrant and elegant hotel in the middle of the chique and happening neighbourhood of Florance. Welcomed by friendly and very helpful staff. The rooms are modern, playful and chique. All the details in the room are beautiful appointed. Great place to stay close to attractions, very helpful staff ! Very good breakfast with dish choices from a menu + more. Street-side can be noisy until 3 am with youngsters partying outside.

This former Augustine convent of the 13th century is set beside the Uffizi Gallery, facing Florence's Ponte Vecchio. The roof garden with bar offers views of the Cathedral.

The location is amazing, basically in the city center! Very close to all main attractions.

Hotel Balestri faces the Arno River in Florence city centre. Ponte Vecchio and the Uffizi Gallery are 400 metres away. It features a roof terrace with lovely city views.

The front desk staff was unavailable (was getting married apparently) so the woman running the attached cafe was filling in and she was absolutely delightful! She opened the cafe early every morning for us because we had early bookings, even delivered hot focaccia to our room when we commented about how great it smelled upon coming in one afternoon. The welcome package - in a wax-sealed envelope no less - reflected the charm of this historic feeling guesthouse. Yet, the place has modern hotel convenience like key card entry, elevator, wifi, motorized windows. The decor was remarkable and quirky, and the room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. Our best stay in Italy.
