Hotels in Centro Storico, Grado

Staying at Hotel Castrum during our visit to Grado was an absolutely wonderful experience. The hotel exceeded our expectations in so many ways, and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. The room were extremely comfortable and well air-conditioned, making it a perfect retreat after a day of exploring. The hotel itself is new and modern, with a very convenient elevator that added to the ease of our stay. Its location in the heart of the old town was ideal—everything we wanted to see was just a short walk away. At the same time, the hotel is tucked slightly off the main streets, so we were spared the noise and bustle, which made for peaceful evenings. The staff were incredibly helpful and kind. A special thank you to the lovely Polish lady who showed us where to find a fantastic free beach and recommended a restaurant with the best Neapolitan pizza in town. Another staff member went out of her way to lend us her personal bottle opener when we needed one. These small but meaningful gestures made us feel so welcome and well cared for. We were also impressed with how the owners accommodated our need for secure parking, going out of their way to arrange it for us. The breakfasts were fantastic—everything was fresh and delicious, with plenty of options to choose from. We particularly enjoyed sitting at the outdoor tables, savoring our meal under the open sky, surrounded by the charm of the Italian old town. As for Grado itself, the town is simply extraordinary—full of grace, elegance, character, and authentic charm. It’s a place that leaves a long lasting impression, and I truly hope to return one day. When I do, I will undoubtedly choose to stay at Hotel Castrum again. To the owners and staff, thank you so much for everything. Some problems occurred during our stay (e.g. no parking place) but they immediately found a solution for them. Best location in town, with yachts and restaurants around. You feel special staying here.

The hotel is the dream location with dream services. The Beach umbrella and sunbeds makes the life easy, even they gave Us towels for the beach. The breakfast was breathtaking, real italian coffe, great selection of food. The pool is also fantastic.

Beatiful house with everything you need close to the beach and to the old town as well. Very nice and helpful host Alessia. Would definitely return back.

Excellent location, very well equipped perfect size for us as a couple and our 2 small dogs!

The location of the accommodation is very good. It is close to beach entrance 7. The staff is very nice and helpful. They will find a solution to any request. The breakfast is plentiful, the coffee machine is super. About 15-20 minutes comfortable walk to the centre. Parking is possible in the inner courtyard of the accommodation for a fee.
