The staff was really kind and helpful, and I loved the garden it was gorgeous at day and at night, too. The bathrooms was really close the room and they were very clean. The accomodation is close to the botanical garden of Rome and to a cafe, and the nearest bus stop is just a few minutes by walk.

I've been to Rome 5 times and this trip was definitely one of the best. The accommodation is in a lovely area, 15 minutes walk from the historic centre of Rome. We had a view of a beautiful church. The room we stayed in was clean and quiet. We even had a coffee machine with espresso capsules :) I would also like to mention the administrator who worked with us. He was the nicest guy we ever met. He was always polite and open to any questions, always ready to help. He helped us with the check-in and check-out and was very helpful in finding out where we could leave our luggage (as we had an evening flight). I could only recommend this accommodation!

We loved the different cake offerings each morning. We appreciated the local restaurant recommeded listing. Location of the nearest taxi stand was a short 2 minute walk. The fact that bus number 23 from Vatican City stopped right outside our accommodation, extremely handy when traveling back from the Vatican Museums. Also easy walk to the Colloseum from this location.

It had been many years since I'd been to Rome and I didn't know the Trastavere area so I was a little nervous about staying there. I shouldn't have been. The area was wonderful and so was Ripagrande. I stayed in the Ripa room which was modern and stylish. Each morning I was able to start my day with coffee on my terrace which had glorious views. Living the dream. As if that wasn't enough, the view from the front door was of the River Tiber and the Jewish District. Rome at your doorstep. What made my stay at Ripagrande so special though was meeting Fausta who is a fabulous host. It's quite obvious that she wants her guest house to be special - from the beautiful decor and toiletries to the cakes and biscuits (I succumbed a number of times!), Ripagrande is a delight. Fausta also has great recommendations which was how I discovered Cuverie Enoteca - fantastic atmosphere!
