The place is really easy to find, just take the 12 exit at Kawaramachi station. It’s only a few minutes by foot, in quiet streets.
The hotel is near all the best attractions in town and you can reach them by foot.
The staff was very nice and some speak a fluent English.
The room was taller than expected, with this lovely mezzanine. During the check in, the staff will give you a few informations and a useful plans of the area. The room was clean and sleeping on a futon was fun.
This hotel has a real atmosphere. I highly recommended to stay there.

The staffs all speak English very well which is better communication. The room is very clean and big for 3 beds. The space was well designed , shower and toilet are separate from the vanity and is newly renovated. It is modern and up to date which is different from standard shower room in most hotels in Japan. Guest can drop the used towels and pick up clean towel anytime by themselves. Internet is good and the pre check in instruction is clear to follow.

The reception was really nice and kept our luggage until the evening after sightseeing and shopping and also the next day after we checked out until the evening. The room was big, especially for Kyoto, while still being the most central hotel I have stayed at there (Nishiki Market, Temples, Shopping, Train in 5 min walk distance). The beds were comfortable and big, shower and toilet seperated and a variety of amenities were provided. The Breakfast was a buffet with hot and cold food, western and japanese so for everyone.
I will definitely stay there again next time and would recommend it !
