Definitely one of the highlights of my trip! Really able to hit a couple of items off with this in. I love that they have English speaking staff. I'm surprised to meet fellow Filipinos working there. It was such an awesome welcome. The rooms were amazing and spacious. I slept like a baby with the futon they prepared for me. Ordered a traditional breakfast which did not disappoint. And the private bath really soothed my tired bones after long walks going around Kyoto. Would definitely stay there again!

The situation of the hotel is perfect, next to Shijo station and Kawaramachi Station so near Kyoto station and the trains for Osaka, Kobe, Nara, … The staff is very friendly and speaks english. The room was small as expected but everything is very well organized and enough for 2 people with 2 luggages. It was clean, there are a lot of amenities on the lobby. The free coffee of the machine in the lobby was very tasty. The hotel has a good vibe, the sake degustation is a good idea. I didn’t taste the breakfast but it seems complete. There are a lot of options for bars and restaurants in the area.
