Was very good all around with everything taken care off. You have plenty off amenities in a beautiful location with amazing staff. It had a shuttle from the train station and everything was convenient. The place and onsets are beautiful and the food was great.

I had an unforgettable stay at Biwako Hanakaido. The view of Biwa Lake is simply spectacular, creating a serene and picturesque setting for a relaxing getaway. The staff were exceptionally friendly and grateful, making my stay even more enjoyable. The breakfast was very good, quite a variety. Tasty the Japanese way. The location is a bit far out but the train and their shuttle helped a lot. Place is nice and quiet to relax. As I am a Muslim I was happy to see that you have the Japan Halal certification so we feel confidant to come again and share news with family and friends. You also had souveniers but I had to scan one by one to see if it is halal.

It was very nice. Rooms were extremely spacious. Food was delicious. Staff was very friendly. Onsen in the adjacent hotel is excellent and worth visiting, for a small fee.

Beautiful ryokan in a lovely place.Ohara and the valley is peaceful and charming. The staff were very helpful and kind and the dinner and breakfast delicious. Fell in love with their dog ♥️Just an hour bus ride from central Kyoto. Go if you can! We hope to be back one day...
