Wonderful ryokan experience, with very helpful and attentive staff. The futon were some of the comfiest I've ever slept on, and the breakfast was a real feast. The Japanese garden and general atmosphere of the inn were very relaxing. Very close to views of Mt Fuji from the beach (if there aren't too many clouds).

Good location if you intend to visit Miho No Matsubara and/or take the Suruga Bay ferry from Shimizu port to Toi port on the Izu Peninsula - another great photograph opportunity for Mt. Fuji. An excellent business hotel amenities, free drinks (during the evening), and an adequate breakfast selection. The hotel is within 50 m to Shimizu train station with many options for meals. A highly recommended stop-over hotel.

Breakfast had some daily variations and overall was good. Dinner menu had enough options to make dining in enjoyable. Hotel and restaurant staff were very polite and attentive. Located next to main road so it made access very easy.

It has a lot of different baths so it’s never too crowded even at busy times. Nice views of Mt Fuji from the room floors and the outdoor baths. They have a lot of restaurants inside the building as well.
