The loveliest woman took care of everything and everything was amazing. The food as well was exceptional! I loved the location, right next to the bus stop, but you have to love a quiet place.

Spectacular food and amazing staff. Excellent value for money for those who want a Ryokan experience. The journey to get there is a bit challenging but the destination and sights around Okuhida Onsen is well worth it.

Very close to the bus station, we stopped here on our way from Matsumoto to Takayama.
Japanese-style room (ryokan), on the table a Japanese tea set (a teapot and bowls) with good sencha tea is waiting.
The available natural hot springs are a great place to rest and relax.
Meals in an atmospheric atmosphere in a yakuta with haori. Dinner is really delicious, quite decent fine dining. Breakfast is equally good.
