Really lovely and convenient ryokan located in the heart of Asakusa. The room was very comfy and quiet which we appreciated after a long day exploring Tokyo. The best part was definitely the bath on the 6th floor - it was sooo nice. Highly recommend this place.

Loved everything ! The smells, the soft lights, very kind and helpful staff, bed extremely comfortable and clean rooms. Everything was great. I liked the little detail that you get a “shower bag” where you can hold all the stuff you will need in the bathroom. The common space is convenient and comfortable. There was a free of charge Maiko dance show as well which I really enjoyed. Was interesting to learn about the journey of becoming a geisha. Location is just perfect. Very close to train station and the Asakusa temple. The whole building is very beautiful.

Amazing stay. Room is compact, but more than enough for 2 adults that are pretty tall (but slender). We were able to place our suitcases under the bed so we had enough space. Everything was super clean. Great and comfy bed, clean bathroom. Amazing value for money, especially compared with European hotels.
Staff was friendly, both at check in/out and at breakfast. Breakfast was pretty much the same every day, but had great (mostly western) products. Wish there were more Japanese dishes, but I doubt other overseas travellers would agree, haha! It was very delicious. Great coffee. Location was also convenient for both getting to Narita Airport and rest of Tokyo. Senso-ji temple is literally 5 minutes on foot. Highly recommend everything about this property.

The staff was incredible nice, the location perfect, a few steps of Tamawari station (subway), the room new, clean, and the neighborhood (Asakusa) is one of the most interesting places to visit in Tokyo, close to Senso-ji temple and many restaurants.

Hotel Nohga Ueno is also near to Ueno station, Ueno park, Ame Yoko, and a lot of really great spots for to eat and shop.
The design of the hotel is very classy and it really feels relaxing to come back after a long day. The size of the room we booked was a lot bigger that what I’m accustomed to in Tokyo. All the room facilities are great and well-maintained: the bed, shower, toilet, etc. We didn’t even get to try the spa and the other amenities, but just because we already feel so relaxed in our room.
We would like to commend and thank the friendly and helpful staff for patiently assisting us whenever we needed something. We appreciate the superb service!
We particularly like to say thanks to Yuta-san, who was working at the reception, for patiently helping us locate our missing item (which we came back for a few days later) and for the rest of the staff who helped find and secure it.
We will definitely stay here again!
