If dinner service is available, go for it, it is worth every cent! It was one of the best meals that I had in Japan and I wish I can eat it again!
Owners of the Ryokan went out of their way to drive us from the train station to the Ryokan. They also drove us to the monkey park. The owners were also very friendly and knowledgeable with the area and I was able to learn more about their culture.
The futons were very comfy and I had very good sleep. Free tea, coffee and snacks were also provided. Convenience shop is close by also.

This place was absolutely amazing. The private onsen was perfect, the dinner and breakfast were incredibly delicious and beautifully presented. The lady kindly taught me how to wear a kimono, and the man was extremely generous — he drove us both to the station and to the monkey park. Truly exceptional hospitality.
