We are 6 friends from Malaysia and was our first visit to Yunohira, a little onsen town. We are thankful to choose to stay at Ryokan Yamashiroya. The host is very responsive to our queries before our trip and during our stay. After we parked the car at the allocated parking lot, the host fetched all of us to the ryokan on a narrow road and this save our energy lugging our luggages to the ryokan. We enjoyed our stay in the spacious and clean rooms plus the few private onsen were a bonus to us! We also enjoyed the sumptous dinner and breakfast in a private room with wearing the yukata for photos. Upon our checkout, the host fetched all of us back to our car. Highly recommended!

The breakfast and dinner was absolutely amazing. Also our ryokan (called Mokuren) was a nice villa with private indoor and outdoor onsen options. Beds super comfortable and a fair amount of space in general. Wasn’t the traditional style but more of a modern twist

Amazing place! Very beautiful and peaceful hot springs, super clean and GREAT foods. All the foods they served were Art pieces. All the staffs were very sweet and kind. Thank you so much. I’ll definitely want to come again.

It is located in a very nice and easy to access area, which is just a few minutes walking distance to the Kinrinko Lake. The private bath and meals are great. The room is cozy with a high ceiling. Mr Nakashima from the front desk always provided great help. He replies efficiently and effectively, even before my arrival. The two ladies that served dinner and breakfast were extraordinary, professional, and polite.

The room is very spacious, the private hot spa is right outside our room on the terrasse, with a beautiful view of Mount Yufu. The public one is also very beautiful! The meals are delicious. Thank you for the pick-up and drop-off! Very considerate.

The accommodation is well located. Super near the Yufuin JR station and there were many restaurants and mart nearby too. Accommodation was super comfortable and the bed is big! 3 rooms, 2 rooms with 2 super single beds and 1 room with tatami setup. The place was so clean and well-equipped. The host has been very helpful too whenever I had questions, deeply appreciate. Overall we enjoyed it a lot!
