The staff was exceptionally nice and welcoming.
They were prepared to deal with guests of the world via technology and an open-minded attitude.
The food was a delicious collection of the local ocean's best and the service excellent and friendly.
We had an amazing time there, especially for a first stop on our Japan journey.
Thank you! :D

Breakfast was huge, healthy and very tasty, a solid foundation for a day full of attractions. Coffee very good, but thats obvious in Japan, perfectly composed with fresh food, light but caloric.

The house is in a quiet location with excellent kitchen facilities. However, the exact house location is a little hard to find due to many side track/junction. We are lucky to meet a local who advise us the exact location of the house.

We did not see the host but he responded really fast at messages and was really nice and helpful (with questions about the house and the area). The house is also really nice with thick matresses which is great when you have a bad back like me.

Amazing experience at Sensatei. The value for money is amazing especially the service from the exceptional staff. I felt we were very tired and demanding guests, asking lots of questions, being a bit dramatic after lots of traveling, but they were so patient, lovely and accommodating. The view was amazing, over looking mountains and the river. I never got tired of it! The Onsen is fantastic as well. Over the 4 days we were there, i went 4 times!
Worth the stay and will make the track from Australia again!

The entire experience was extraordinary. We were greeted with welcome drinks in front of a fire, and led to our room by courteous but hospitable staff. Our 3-person room faced a quiet garden, and we enjoyed delicious cake and tea before being led to the dinner. There was a pair of yukata and a pair of more modern pajamas in the room, along with a warm jacket and a pair of socks for each person. There was a toilet in our entrance hall, and a sink and mirror in the room.
Dinner and breakfast were both served in an independent Japanese room located in the older building, and our server conversed with us in fluent Mandarin and English. We loved the exquisitely made Japanese dinner and breakfast, every single small dish and platter of it!
The two hotsprings were also delightfully pleasant. The indoors medicinal bath was small but very clean, while the outdoor bath was much more spacious. For some reason, we did not meet many people using the bath either in the evening or the morning.
We opted for a shuttle bus to leave the hotel in the morning. The hotel was very helpful with answering questions and reserving shuttle service through the booking.com chat room in English.
We were extremely happy with our stay, and hope to stay longer next time.
