Not only does Luxe make sense because it’s in a prime location in the city, with literally everything within walking distance, but mainly because it offers a luxurious, new apartment with comfortable details and amenities. The hotel was spacious light and airy and our room looked right onto trees in the park. It was a quick tram ride and a pleasant stroll through the park to get from the railway station. The staff were lovely. We had a superb dinner in the restaurant. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Hotel Vauban is situated on Place Guillaume in the centre of Luxumbourg-city, opposite the Town Hall and the Palace of the Grand Dukes. All museums and shops are within walking distance.

Before I arrived I sent an email asking if it was possible to get a room to the front of hotel . We got the room to the front and it was magical looking out at the Christmas market from our window. Requested extra pillows and no issue with getting them.Breakfast was continental style and plenty to choose from. Location is absolutely perfect.
