The unit is beautiful and impeccably clean, a nice and inspired renovation where everything is new, and still keeping its local identity. Youness is a wonderful host, always happy to help if you need anything. The location was perfect for me, very close to medina.

Safe neighborhood. 10min walk from Supratour bus. 3min walk to medina. 5min walk to the beach. Lively area to mingle with the locals. Some coffee powder / tea and hair dryer would be appreciated. A bit cold in January but heater was provided upon request

Location is in the heart of Medina, quick to call a taxi and get anywhere in Essaouria. Or just simply walk 5 minutes to the local streets to explore what the city has to offer. Omar and his staff were exceptional. They went above and beyond in terms of service, attitude, friendliness. You will be treated with the utmost respect and care here at Riad Dar Awil. Not to mention the delicious food - literally a feast fit for royalty. Every dish was absolutely delicious. Room was clean and there is a cleaner to come tidy your room (even folded up some clothes I had lying around). Can't recommend enough. Thanks for the amazing experience here. Will definitely be back whenever in Essaouria

Redouane helped me when I lost my passport and contacted the local police department. His service was attentive but not overbearing. He and his kitchen assistant provided an amazing breakfast on the roof terrace speaking multiple languages to a variety of guests. I would definitely return

The rooms are beautifully decorated with comfortable beds and great showers. The towels were nice large hotel style. The breakfast was the best we’ve had in Morocco to date. We originally booked for one night but stayed for two. So got to enjoy two different rooms.

Paul is really nice to us, he takes us to local food restaurants for dinner that was amazing , I will visit again, it feels more like your homely and comfortable.

Amazing stay! The park is very peaceful and green, never slept better than here. We had the whole building for our own with a fireplace in the night and a fully equiped kitchen. The place was very clean and comfortable, they thought of every detail. The owner Mohammed is so kind, he did everything to make our stay fantastic. When I left my sweater he even brought it to our next Riad in Essaouira.
