We loved this hotel. It's a beautiful building with great interior design. It's a bit like a maze so it's easy to get a little lost, but we didn't mind because it was so lovely to walk around in. On one floor there is a giant tree that grows in the hotel, and out through the roof. So cool! And we loved brining a drink up to the rooftop terrace which had lovely views. Our room was also great. Comfortable beds and it was large. We upgraded to a suite so it had two separate bedrooms and a sitting room, which was lovely. Since the town is small you can walk everywhere and the hotel had was situated perfectly for that. Everything was close. I highly recommend this hotel and would stay again should I return to Guanajuato.

If I let everyone know how amazing this hotel is I doubt I'll be able to find a room there next time. I usually travel 5 star. This hotel is at least that good. In every way.

The hotel faces Union Garden, and each room has a stylish name. The facilities are new and comfortable. There are also L'Occitane amenities. Unión Garden has live music until midnight, and while other hotels have complained of excessive noise, there was very little noise at this hotel (that's why we had very effective earplugs). Breakfast was served at the upscale restaurant next door and was very delicious with coffee, fruit, bread, and a main dish. Although the price is a little high, it is strongly recommended.

The service was exceptional. Our host, Olga went out of her way to make our stay enjoyable, helping us with our luggage, suggesting an excellent restaurant, getting us a taxi to the airport. She was fantastic.

I booked last moment . I'm glad I did . If you like quirky and a bit off the wall then this is for you. If you are disabled or struggling with steps etc this might not be for you. Otherwise I cant rate this place enough . If you appreciate the wild and wonderful and cheeky you will feel at home . I loved it . I didt stay for breakfast as it was all last moment and I had to rush. But the staff where delightful . The only thing I need to day is . If you are a late sleeper you might not like the alarm call in the week days called the school close by . Otherwise you'll adore this place I'd definitely stay here again. The staff are delightful. Thankyou x
