The hotel was amazing! It definitely was an unique experience, living in a capsule room, but it was amazing. We stayed there 2 nights, our only goal was to explore Amsterdam in that time, and we were at the hotel only from the evening till the morning. So didnt really need that much space for staying the night. The room of course was small, but what do you really need? We had a bed, a small table, and some room/shelves to put our things. Was surprisingly enough, and managed well with the given space. We were a bit nervous about the shared bathrooms, as we hadnt experienced that before.. BUT! They were amazing. They had seperate (women, men) bathrooms, and also both gender bathrooms. The showers were seperate. They were very modern, had everything you'd need. Even Rituals products (shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, and body lotion)! The hotel was for us a bit further away from the centre, but still a managable distance away, around 40min walk to the centre. And there is a bus station near the hotel, which we took late at evenings to get back. So, the hotel was amazing, the staff was also amazing and helpful! A modern hotel at an amazing price! Definitely recommend!

The place is as clean as it gets! The reception people were amazing! The vibes of the whole hostel were splendid! The location although it's not in the center is quite nice, right next to westerpark which is beautiful and full of activities. There is a lidl right next to the hostel, very convenient! All in all would go here again if ever in Amsterdam! Thank you Dutchies and thank you Luca from the reception you are awesome!!!!

Breakfast was magnificent. There was everything I wanted to see and more. Lots of fruits (even strawberries), English breakfast, great cheeses, ham, pancakes, pastries and you could even prepare yourself a mimosa. Cups for coffee and tea to go were available. Always enough food and always free seats. Our room was at the end of 7th floor and we could watch sunset from bed. Totally amazing! Also the best matrass and pillows I ever had at a hotel. Hotel is located directly at Noord metro station. It is great if you have for example the I Amsterdam card and you don't have to worry about taking a metro for a few stations. Amsterdam central station is 2 long stops away. Without this card you have to buy ticket for 1 hour for 3.40 EUR to get to the center (this is the cheapest ticket available). If you want to walk it is 3 km mostly through park to get to the border of city center. We were really happy with the location as we had the card so we travelled to the station closest to where we wanted to visit. Staff was very friendly especially at the breakfast and bar area. They were all very helpful.

The hotel and staff were both great. It’s a new “American” styled hotel. Although not big enough for 5 in one room, the price a bit high but within reason. It was modern, clean (it’s new), with friendly staff. The dude checking us in was very friendly and warm toward my young son, very welcoming. We arrived early and was checked into one of our reserved rooms early so we could leave luggage and rest after our travel - very, very nice, thank you. Inside both rooms: very nicely appointed, comfortable beds, tv, charger ports on both sides of the bed, safe, large walk-in shower, huge bathroom actually, etc. we were street facing on both rooms with nice view of the next building. Above all, it was temp controlled and quiet. If I could sleep on trips I would have slept like a baby. Maid service actually cleaned the room every day even without requesting, awesome! Simple coffee machine in the room was a nice touch. Oh yeah, metro station with easy access to anything directly to the rear of the hotel. If they don’t inflate the prices I can easily recommend this hotel and will stay again next time. Also, Amsterdam is amazing!
