We had an amazing stay at this wonderful place! From the moment we arrived, Sara gave us a warm and friendly welcome, making us feel right at home.
The house is fully equipped with everything you could need, and the highlight was definitely the jacuzzi on the terrace! The kids absolutely loved the inflatable toys and games provided, which kept them entertained for hours. And let’s not forget the cozy hammock, perfect for unwinding with a good book (from the personal library of Sara) or simply enjoying the surroundings.
This place had everything we needed for a perfect family vacation, and we enjoyed every moment. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing and fun stay with kids!

Beautiful hotel, fantastic view, nice garden. We loved the large salt-water swimming pool (a good thing since in two weeks it was never allowed to swim in the ocean: yellow flag every day).
Great breakfast buffet. We tried Cipriani once, nothing extraordinary. The William's was superlative, but they only have 2 set menus and no "à la carte". We also tried the afternoon tea: scones and sandwiches were OK, and they have an impressive selection of tea (you can also get the same teas without all the extra at the "Tea library").
The room was OK, not particularly large for a junior suite but comfortable and we had a view on the ocean.

We had a great time - couldn't find a reason to complain. The apartment was clean and well-maintained, and the host provided us with all the necessary information upon our arrival. We were a bit worried about localization a bit further from Funchal center, however the vicinity offered many restaurant, shops and attractions for our convenience.

My stay at José’s apartment was exceptional in every respect.
The entire process went smoothly and without any issues. José greeted me personally at the entrance with a warm smile and the keys in hand, which made me feel immediately welcome. We had been in contact since my departure from the airport, which greatly helped reduce any travel-related stress.
José proved to be a highly professional and attentive host — always positive, helpful, and considerate. A small welcome gift awaited me upon arrival, a thoughtful detail that reflects his sense of style and genuine hospitality.
Throughout my stay, José checked in occasionally to ensure everything was satisfactory, always in a polite and unobtrusive manner. The apartment itself is beautifully designed and tastefully furnished. The balcony and the stunning view from the living room window made my stay truly memorable.
The location is excellent — a shopping center is conveniently located just across the street, offering everything one might need, and a local bus stop right by the entrance provides easy access to the city center.
If you are looking for a place where you can truly relax and enjoy a pleasant, welcoming atmosphere, this apartment is an outstanding choice.
Interacting with José was an absolute pleasure — a host who embodies professionalism and genuine hospitality.
