Rubinen is a very nice hotel In possibly the best location. The room we had was basic but very clean with nice decor. All the staff were extremely helpful, polite and very friendly. We never ate at the hotel in the evening however the breakfast was excellent, good choices and very tasty.

This is the most kid-friendly hotel I have ever seen. It truly feels like a place where children’s dreams come to life. We booked an apartment with the separated bedroom because of toddler and a baby, and we were a bit worried that we could get an apartment the same size but without an extra bedroom. This is a perfect place to stay in Gothenburg, it is central and accessible by both car or public transit (frequent bus schedule, metro nearby). It is clean and newly renovated. The check in procedure is very smooth. There are parks and forests nearby, plenty of options for groceries. You can enjoy the surroundings from the porch. I would recommend staying here and would come back myself once in Gothenburg.
