The hostel is well located, just about 1km from Chinatown, near to 2 mrt stations and lots of buses. Also lots of food options within easy walking distance. Check-in is automatic and easy - although doesn't let you in before 3pm. And check out was smooth using this machine. The staff are really great and helpful. The kitchen has dishes, a fridge, and hot water. The washing machines and dryers are free to use, you just have to bring your own soap (also available for purchase on-site). Singapore accommodation is expensive and small and this was no exception - but good value for money! And with so much to do and see and eat in Singapore, really no need for spending heaps on a room you'll only sleep in!

The hotel is located within a 10 minute walk of two MRT stations and about a minute walk from the wonderful Tiong Bahru Bakery and across the street from a major hawker food court. The remodeling of the hotel entrance during the Covid period has the entrance now on the street with the hawker food court. The reception staff is amazing - and check in is super fast. I have stayed in several rooms in the hotel that can run from small to modest in size. This time had the perfect size for a short stay. The hotel rooms are all very clean and with soft beds - and the AC works very well! Always love that the showers have both good water pressure and plenty of hot water. Each room also has a safe that is large enough to put your laptop in. While the price makes for a good reason to stay at Nostalgia - its the staff that has brought me back here many times over many trips. A hotel with an outstanding staff is well worth staying at again and again! No better example at this hotel than Perry - who is one of those guys every great hotel wants to have work for them. Thank you for a great stay!

We loved everything about the property - the location, the decor, the views, the showers and even the warm toilet seats! I did a lot of research before deciding on this hotel in Singapore for our 2 night stopover and I am very happy to say that I made the right choice. No need to describe the facilities — it’s the Ritz-Carlton, so everything was just as excellent as expected. What more could you ask for? I came to Singapore just for J-hope’s concert from BTS, and the location of the hotel was perfect. The stadium was very close — we could even see it from our room. One morning, while our in-room breakfast was being served, we had a lovely chat with the staff member about BTS and concerts in Singapore. It was such a small but memorable moment. And what truly touched me — the hotel left a handwritten note in our room saying “Enjoy the concert!” It was such a thoughtful and heartwarming gesture. It was truly a special stay that I’ll never forget 💜
