Very clean hotel in the immediate proximity of main sights in Istanbul. We were offered a bigger room than the one reserved, on the lobby floor at the back, calm and pleasant, and an extra breakfast on the day we arrived. We felt being taken good care of, with all suggestions needed to benefit from our stay. Public transport, including ferries, is fine in Istanbul and you could use it (Istambulcard) for all trips you intend to do, which will save you money and allow you to be free in what to do and when. Be aware that prices in the Grand and Egiptian bazaars could be double for the same goods you buy outside the bazaars. Eating fish in one of the restaurants on Galata bridge is a good idea, but make sure you negotiate the prices in advance. They could offer you a price much below the one on the menu, there is usually 10% service in the final price included.

Located in a very cute neighbourhood, close enough to all the touristic sites (Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Grand Bazaar etc) yet in a quiet part of the neighbourhood. We had access to nice restaurants near our location and there is a nice park right in front of the hotel. The staff was very kind, receptionist always there to greet us and helped with any questions we had. Rooms were very clean and breakfast was really good, with many choices and with a great view too. We really felt very welcomed in this place, thank you!

Our overall experience from day one to our departure was exceptional. From reception desk Niyazi was so welcoming and amazing, Omer hospitality was exceptional. Bell Captain and his team was beyond amazing. Breakfast manager and his team were exceptionally welcoming and hospitable. Breakfast was super , great view of Bosporus river while enjoying breakfast. We will highly recommend Ajwa hotel . From now we will always stay at Ajwa because it’s great value for money.
