Excellent staff, with great tips about Monterey, its bay, aquarium, the 17-mile drive and more. Although we had a good idea of what we wanted to do, front-desk staff gave us those essential pointers that locals would know about. The room was very comfortable, with parking directly in front. Supremely clean, with a generous bed, bathroom and a gigantic TV on the wall. Very well located, right by Monterey.

Standard, but great stay. Clean and comfortable, nice staff. Laundry is available. Relatively short distance from the wharf, but loved the fact that you can actually walk there... finally a US place with pedestrian walkside and not car-centric.

Everything was great. Location is in the center of the city. Monterey is well worth a visit.

Very nice location and within walking distance to shops/ fishermen's warf. Very nice breakfast with bagels, tea, coffee, fruit: served in an extra breakfast room on cute dishes. Monterey has a different landscape than beach cities. Lots if wood and cypresses. Staff was very nice. Very stylish make-up table in the room. Nice heating fan in the bathroom.
