Me and my boyfriend stayed in a private room with its own bathroom. The beds were as comfortable as we needed, the streetcar to the French quarter was right down the street, restaurants were available nearby, it was quiet at night and easily able to sleep. There were lots of facilities in the space as well a kitchen, common areas, pool, etc but we didn’t get to test a lot of that out because we mainly were out in the French quarter and came back to sleep. But all looked well kept. The price for the private rooms was SIGNIFICANTLY more affordable than a private hotel room, and I don’t think the facility is missing anything you would be paying more at a hotel for, in fact I think I prefer it to a hotel. The decor is unique and interesting and the staff extremely helpful and friendly.

The staff was very kind and helpful. It was the second time for us there, the location is great, and the "kick back" is very convenient, especially on a business trip.

I loved this hotel. It was everything I hoped for... stylish, elegant with the wonderful atmosphere of yesteryear. The Carousel bar was busy but we did manage to secure a seat for a drink or two as it circled. And it is really convenient for anything in the French Quarter.
