I recently had the pleasure of staying at a hotel that exceeded all my expectations when it comes to accessibility and convenience in the heart of New York City. Situated near multiple subway lines and just a short ride away from Manhattan, Whether it was heading to Times Square, Central Park, or any other Manhattan hotspot, the subway lines near the hotel made my commute a breeze. The hotel staff's warm hospitality added a personal touch to the overall experience. The hotel staff deserves special commendation for their exceptional service. From check-in to check-out, the staff members were friendly, accommodating, and eager to assist with any inquiries.

This NYC hostel features a fully equipped common kitchen, free Wi-Fi and a rooftop terrace with skyline views. Guests can enjoy coffee, breakfast, beer, wine and cocktails on site.

The hotel felt so cozy and warm. I loved the design especially in the lobby area. It made you stay in the there and hang out with other guests. The staff was super friendly and very helpful with anything that I needed. I loved this place and would definitely stay there again. Highly recommend!

This is a great place to stay if one wants to explore New York! While it's outside Manhattan, the location and connections can't be better! A safe area, just a block from the nearest subway station (plus two more a little further) to reach anywhere you need in the city. Just to illustrate, less than 20' to MoMA or Times Square or 30' to my conference venue near 103rd Street. There's plenty of local commerce, delis and restaurants in the vicinity of the hotel. The room was very quiet (upon a light sleeper's special request!), but generally the hotel is in a calm street and it meant a lot for a good rest before full-day activities in the city. All the staff was kind and helpful and we loved the pleasant and clean scent in the room on arrival. The daily maintenance was perfect. There were amenities like the fridge, microwave, coffee machine and ironing board in the room. Awesome! I loved the large bathroom, with plenty of space for all the toiletries. The buffet breakfast was fine, with a diversity of choices. It's a fantastic location and overall value for money in such an expensive city, and while we didn't ne3d to use that option, one could check out until 5 PM for a small fee. Though there were so many positives, there are still a few things that l hope the hotel can improve in the future. Small changes could be made to become more eco-friendly, like eliminating the plastic cutlery or letting the guest choose whether they wish to have the towels changed daily (which is quite an established practice in European hotels). There were three of us sharing the room, but only one chair, and that's pretty easy to fix. The entrance and the lobby could be improved to match the quality and the appearance of the rooms.

LIC hotel is really very good accomodation in New York city. First of all, location in Long Island city is really great because it is just 3 subway stops away from Manhattan (10-15 minutes). The hotel is very close to the waterfront by the Gantry Plaza where one can enjoy amazing views of uptown Manhattan skyline. Rooms are very clean and comfortable with good beds. Another plus is having a good breakfast which I would recommend to take as an option especially in such expensive city like New York. And last but the least is a rooftop with really beautiful views of Manhattan which can be romantic in the evenings.
