FAUNA is a very cool, neat and comfortable hotel with a super location in the centre of the city. Jeronimo at FAUNA was excellent in communicating with me and answering all my questions. He provided lots of good suggestions.

The location is super! Alley Sarandi. Opposite is a supermarket. The hotel offers coffee and cookies in a separate area for free. Interesting elevator. The room is comfortable, a comfortable huge bed, table, chairs, dressing table, wardrobe. The bathroom is equipped with a separate shower area, shampoo and soap. Polite, pleasant staff.

Since April 1st we moved to a new, more modern, 6-story building located in the Old City, close to the main tourist attractions of the city.

The staff were so friendly and helpful. They had great tips and suggestions for us. The breakfast was also really good! The location is near many restaurants and the port market, it's very easy to get around the old city and the bus stops across the street to get to the pocitos beach.

What a lovely surprise! Location is excellent! Just opposite Mercado del Puerto and few steps to good restaurants! Room and bed comfortable. Pretty quiet at the night time. Very friendly staff. I can really recommend this hotel!

Good location in the old city and one short block from the waterfront. Easy walk to Plaza Independencia/the old city gate and the pedestrianized street that leads to the Mercado del Puerto. Easy to reach Tres Cruces bus station by taxi (lots of taxis within an easy short walk). Good hotel with a good breakfast - thank you.

A recently renovated property, casa vegana is situated in Montevideo near Montevideo's Port's Market, Montevideo Harbour and Solis Theatre.

I have to start by saying that how the bungalow is located and how it looks is absolutely amazing and wowed us. When choosing this hostel, take the bungalow if it is available! The price is also very good. Casa Vegana is located on one of the main streets and is surrounded by shops, restaurants and cafes, but it is quiet and peaceful. The hostel itself is decorated in a very original style and the bungalow is the finishing touch. The person we contacted was very friendly and helpful, we could not have expected more. As for the facilities in the bungalow, it was everything you would expect. Please note that Casa Vegana is against violence towards animals, so the cooked food is to be of animal origin. There was air conditioning in the bungalow. In general we were delighted, we could not find a better place in Montevideo.
