The great breakfast, the view from our bedroom (see photo), the old movie feeling inside the estate, the eclectic decoration, the adorable “secret forest café” at the bottom of the garden. Simply fantastic. Everybody was so kind and helpful. This was truly a highlight during our trip to Cape Town.

What a treat. From the moment I arrived to the moment I checked out I was treated like a queen. No matter what I requested it was provided - no hesitation. The staff were welcoming and professional in every aspect. The room and bathroom were spacious and just so perfectly decorated - it has even given me ideas to redecorate my home. The food was delicious and the service again was just exceptional. I noted that I had a fish allergy and this was actually taken note of. Thank you.

We cannot say enough wonderful things about the Dongola Guesthouse. From the moment we booked, the staff was super attentive and helpful. Claudio was welcoming and gave us wonderful travel tips and recommendations. Natalie and Rochelle always greeted us with a smile and couldn't be more helpful. The property was gorgeous and clean. Better than the photos! We loved lounging by the pool. The breakfast was abundant and delicious. The room was spacious and comfortable and the shower was excellent. Thank you for a wonderful stay!!!
