I really liked the warm and kind approach of Ms. Schuster as a property owner and manager. She has managed the hotel the way you expect from a family-run property. Besides, the location is excellent with an amazing view of the mountains, it´s close if you want to hike in the mountains, and especially if you plan the hike to the Hochschwab. If you look for that, I definitely recommend you to stay there.

Location is very good - very close to hiking routes in the middle of the village. Free parking. Nice breakfast and very kind host. Room was OK and quiet with nice view. Hot water in shower was no problem and also temperature in the room (it was warm inside).

Very clean, very comfortable, very cute and instagrammable apartment! Once we had a trouble with WIFI, the host reacted very quickly. In less than one hour we got the WIFI back. We are very pleased with this. The apartment is located very central, near the cathedral, Bürgeralpe, and also near the bus station where we also did a day excursion to Gemeindealpe.

The rooms have duvets filled with alpaca wool, which are incredibly soft and lightweight. Breakfast has a warm, homely feel – in the best possible way. Very nice apartment, clean, just the right size. The kitchen was adequately equipped, we didn't miss anything. We didn't use the parking, but it is available with a view directly to the car. There is also a terrace with a beautiful view.

Very nice host! Welcome gift – tasty local specialties! She didn't speak English well so she communicated with us through Google translator. . . Many efforts were made to make our stay comfortable. Everything was as described, great area with trekking paths just around the corner.

Although we got some delays on the way, the Owner was still waiting for us till 11pm. He was very nice, showed us the property and handed keys. The location is very convenient: Billa (supermarket) maybe 50m away (just across the street) - extremely comfortable - no need to get into a car, may just by something for tea every morning and groceries may be brought home easily. Famous Mariazell Basilica and the central square (everything very traditional!) - some 4 minutes on foot Mountain entrance with cable car - some 8 minutes on foot (but I personally prefer to be closer to Billa) One more ski entrance with cable car - 5 minutes by car The next restaurant - 2 minutes on foot, a few more - 4-5 minutes on foot. This is a traditional Austrian house, fully equipped with everything we could need during our stay. Everything worked perfectly! My wife had to work remotely - and she had good, stable WiFi. Besides, there is a few places to sit comfortably with a computer and a cup of coffee. Bed was long enough for me (6ft+)
