The accommodation was terrific and the setting was wonderful. Tranquil forest with an abundance of wildlife at the doorstep. Great walking trails are also available directly from the accommodation (no need to pack the car!). An easy picturesque drive from Cairns and a world away from the hustle and bustle.

It is a beautiful property where you can spot wildlife from your cabin. Everything was clean and welcoming in the cabin when we arrived. It is small but perfect for 6 people for a few days and has everything you need. The kitchen was stocked with basic cooking things and there was even milk in the fridge when we arrived. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Reception even had a list of bids and butterfly species in the area for wildlife enthusiasts.

Featuring BBQ facilities and parking on site, Yungaburra Park Motel offers rooms in Yungaburra. Restaurants and cafés are less than 500 metres away. Peterson Creek is about 300 metres away.

This property is amazing. From the location (it is surrounded by fields not much around), the house itself is spectacular, the interior and the little bits the host left in the house for us. It has everything you need when you are away from home but still feels homely. Book it, it is even better than the pictures!
