We arrived late on a Sunday night, the hotel owner had already given me a ring about 8pm to make sure we hadn't gotten lost. Finding the hotel was easy, and the free car park was a real bonus. The room was spacious and clean, the bed very comfortable. We paid for breakfast and that was worth every penny. All in all we had a great night stay on our way home from England and would definitely stay again.

We had a truly wonderful stay at this beautiful accommodation! From the moment we arrived, the place gave off such positive and peaceful vibes. Surrounded by lush greenery and open farmland, it felt like a serene escape from the everyday hustle. The house itself was spotless—cleanliness was clearly a priority, and it made us feel right at home. Waking up to the sound of birds and the view of green fields was just the kind of relaxing break we were looking for. A special shoutout to the host, who was incredibly friendly and welcoming. They made sure we had everything we needed and were always happy to help with tips about the local area. The owner was extremely attentive and welcoming. There was a ‘club’ room in which we could microwave some dinner and sit and eat in comfort with a lovely selection of Belgium beers. It was very comfortable and just what we needed after a long day’s cycling. There was a secure room for our bicycles and the swimming pool was amazing. Location was remote and quiet!

Everything was perfect. We were welcomed by one of the staff at the car park. The gentleman told us where to park. Our dog was allowed in the restaurant, even at breakfast. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Great customer service and delicious food. Our room was very spacious. There was a lovely little park right behind the hotel, it was perfect for a short evening walk with our dog. Tienen is a very pretty and quiet town. There is a bakery a few minutes away from the hotel and also a market square.

Tjil is truly the most generous and kind host you could ever imagine. His house is quite charming, the room is clean and comfortable, and he went out of his way to help me out and make me feel welcome during my stay. I highly recommend him and staying in this tranquil, cosy little house in Tienen.

I stayed at B&B Lodging At 8 for three nights. As far as I can remember, it was one of the best B&B I've ever seen. The room was very nice and it was cleaned every morning. Steven was very kind and helpful, letting me leave my luggage for a few extra hours in the B&B after checkout. The breakfast was good enough. The only thing worth mentioning is that the B&b has two floors and no elevator.

A lovely overnight escape from our 3 young children. Large, clean, beautifully decorated, quiet, good food, comfy bed, cycles available for free, room with tourist maps etc. We booked one of the sauna rooms which was fabulous. We used the cycles to go 2km to the local village (all along a flat cycle path) for our evening meal at restaurant Halte22 (this restaurant was much better than its website suggested, we recommended booking, because it was packed).
