The room was excellent, with very comfortable beds and a splendid view over the grounds. Everything was spotlessly clean. The large ensuite bathroom has a full length bath, a vast improvement on the tiny showers one tends to find these days. The range of options at breakfast was excellent: all that was missing was a hot 'full English' breakfast, but I wasn't expecting one in Belgium. The chateau itself is very characterful. I shall certainly stay here again if and when in the area.

A lovely house, with all the essentials you need for your stay. The house has been very nicely renovated and has air-conditioning. The kitchen is well equipped with an induction stove, fast oven, microwave, dolce gusta coffee machine, etc. and the dining table is huge, perfect for large groups. The courtyard is a great outdoor entertainment area with bbq, living room, and jacuzzi. There is a bakery about 200m down the hill, which is open Wed - Sun mornings. The shops are only 5 minute drive away. The area is very quiet and there is a walking track through woods just 300m from the house. Bring boots for walking as the woods are very muddy.

We had a wonderful weekend at La Maison Vienvenue. The charming mansion was the perfect base for our cycling trip through the beautiful Ourthe River valley. Afterwards, we enjoyed the evening sun with a local beer on the lovely terrace in the garden. The rooms are authentically decorated with beautiful furniture and comfortable beds. The breakfast was delicious and varied, including fresh fruit salad, bacon and eggs, and a selection of cheeses. We were warmly welcomed by the host, who also provided us with excellent, well-planned cycling routes and recommended a great nearby restaurant for Saturday night.

It's a very nice modern house in a really charming town. Enough space. Very peaceful rural location, with some nice walking tours and very friendly people in the town. Hannut centre is close by car and had a nice summer festival at the square. Also closeby to Namur which is a nice city to visit.
