I had a great stay at Kangaroo Hotel. The bed was very comfortable with a big mosquito net, the WiFi was good, and buffet breakfast was nice and big, and I had lots of hot water for showers. Nicky at reception spoke very good English and was really helpful. The location is just a two minute walk from the main market, which is fun to visit. There are lots of taxis nearby to take you around Bujumbura. Highly recommend!

THE location was what attracted me...but it ended up being and over all beautifull stay. Evelyne the beautiful lady that cleaned the room, Arlene with a beautiful smile that served us delicious breakfast on the 3rd floor roof top beautiful views..Divine, the receptionist beautiful soul...without forget Shanis the very hands on and very welcoming manager.....overall....amazing stay will def come back.
