Unbelievable views & fantastic, very helpful staff! The included breakfast was great and they were very accommodating for my allergies. The location is very close to the train station, and the walk is flat which is useful for over packers like my self.

Fantastic views, fantastic staff, went out of their way to make sure we were happy and comfortable. Sara was a gem. She picked us up from the cable car, and I really didn't think the car would make it up to the mountain with us all on board, but she drove like a pro. I can't give any more praise for the place. I arrived at the Riederalp Mitte cable car station and it was a 2 minute walk to B&B Zurschmitten. My studio apartment was spacious, clean, and looked to be newly renovated, with a good kitchen space with cooktop and microwave. The Coop was close by. The views from the balcony were wonderful, looking over to the mountains on the other side of the valley. I spent a very comfortable 3 nights here, enjoying the walk trails and visiting the viewpoints over Aletsch Glacier. The people I talked to when I checked in and out, and who served breakfast in the restaurant were all very friendly. The price was very good and I would highly recommend a stay here!
