We spent one night in this quiet and cosy house and we loved it. Everywhere it was clean and tidy, breakfast was tasty and we had some home made products too. Marie Claire is the perfect host and a lovely, caring person. She is very discrete but chatting with her it was one of the plus of our short stay. The cleanliness; the huge comfortable well bedroom with excellent linen and good quality towels. The warm, friendly staff; the location right by the old town! A lot of people have criticised the buffet beeakfast and decor, but the buffet breakfast is constantly refreshed during the service and the receptionist is right next door if anything runs out or if any clients need a hand. No one need fear going hungry! The decor is a little somber, but well maintained and spotlessly clean!

Breakfast was great. We had local, organic products and homemade bread. We really enjoyed the evening meal and the conversation with Luc in which we learnt about the area. The bus and train were handy for trips further afield and we enjoyed a walk in the neighbourhood too.

A good location for a relaxing holiday in Saint-Ursanne, La Joux Chaupe is an apartment surrounded by views of the garden.
