Very good hotel while travelling. It was possible to check-in automatically by just grabbing the key and entering the room. I will book again while travelling from Italy to Germany by car to split the trip in two.

Location was good. Less than 8mins walk from the train station. Hotel is very modern and colourful. There's a wellness Spa facility just opposite it. There are about 4 restaurant and a big shop just round the corner. Hotel breakfast was good. Staff speaks English and they're very friendly. The hotel is very clean and There are great views around. This is undoubtedly the best hotel in St Margarethen.

I loved the friendly staff! The room was very clean, even though the hotel is on the road side it is still quiet in the room. Nice shower. Nice bed to sleep after long tiring day. The breakfast is nice. The food from the menu in the restaurant is just amazing, seasonal, fresh. The local wine that I was suggested was very delicious, loved both red and white. Coffee was also very delicious. Shortly, I would really suggest this hotel. They are 3 stars hotel, but for the atmosphere, food, service and the friendly staff - they are 5 star hotel!

We were two male trekkers needing a twin room while trekking the E5 route. The hotel was exactly what we wanted. The room was very good, breakfast was also very good and we had warm and helpful hosts.

A beautiful town surrounded by greenery, cozy accommodation, pleasant hosts. I was glad to stay here and would like to stay here again someday. The small apartment has everything you need. My child sadly noted that there is no TV - but for me this is only a plus. You can chat with your family, share impressions of beautiful Switzerland. The Internet is also good. Shower, kitchen, cleanliness, affordable price - everything is great! P.S. As a car enthusiast, I enjoyed looking at the vintage Citroen cars in the family workshop nearby...

Very lovely place! Lots of different animals, nice breakfast, and overall feeling of being at farm. Staff is very friendly, and the farm is in general just nice. It feels like the breakfast alone just pays off the money spend given the costs of a similar breakfast in the city.

The location was wonderful, there are no beaches, but you can get in the water through docks with stairs. The lake is so clear! Unfortunately, we were in one of the few rooms with no balcony and no view. There was construction going on a property a few houses away so this woke us up if we had the window open. There are lots of jogging/walking trails and places to chill by the water. It's worth the expense for a special occasion as a middle-class person, it is on the very expensive side. For the two nights, we stayed there, we did feel like royalty.
