Close to Basel by train, a very convenient oasis away from the heat, hustle and bustle of the city. Excellent rooms, efficient but friendly staff with old-world manners, a lovely setting amongst mature trees, and a delicious dinner outside in the cool of a summer’s evening. It was a pleasure to stay here.

Sigrid was the star. Nothing was too much trouble. She was the perfect host. Her house was welcoming and homely in a lovely location and the local restaurant bar was very nice.

Wonderful service, great food, lovely decorated rooms and bathrooms -- and extremely accomodating management. I had made a booking mistake, booked one night too early. Hotel manager greenlighted applying the payment to our actual stay instead of charging us more. We're very pleased and will be glad to return to this place.

I had a very good stay at B&B Tomsi. And I felt very comfterble being there. The room was great and perfect for me as I was there for work, and so was all the facilities at the place. The included breakfast was very good !! In case I had any questions regarding my stay in Basel in general- Dominik was avaliable to help with a solution. Its very easy to get there from the center of Basel and close to the Prattlen Station. Very safe at night - I had to get from the St. Jakobs Halle late at night everyday at my stay since I was covering the Eurovision Song Contest so it was good to me, that it was comfterble to walk from the station at night since I was by myself.

The Bienenberg hotel is situated on a forested hill in the Swiss Jura Mountain Range, 10 km from Basel. It offers a large garden and free Wi-Fi in the entire hotel.

Very simple key collection. Lovely spacious room with tea and coffee and snack - most welcome. Very clean. Liked the slightly quirky nature of the place as a converted club.
