I hadn’t realised from the listing that this place is a full on resort within the reserve. There are loads of walking trails and you get access to the reserve for the duration of your stay. Pool, spa, restaurant, bar all great. Staff friendly and helpful. Views were beautiful and the room was really great. We only stayed one night and wish it had been longer.

House is quite amazing, very well built with native and no native trees. Location, a bit far BUT located right in the forest. Would be great for a big family with a few days just to relax and recharge batteries.

We loved this cosy cabana with its little log fire. Perfect central location for exploring Huilo Huilo. Gary our host was perfect and explained the property and its equipment very well on arrival and during our stay answered any questions we had. Kitchen well equipped, shower lovely and hot. Useful washing line outside to dry off clothes after rafting and walking under waterfalls. Thank you Gary!
