Very niice small hotel be the lake/park. Away from tourist crowds but still good n a walking distance. Green area, great teahouse ambience, diverse choices for breakfast - at the top floor with a view. Rooms woth a special window tea drinking area. Super friendly english speaking staff. We had a great time in Beyond Villa Guilin. The whole staff is very helpful and always available. They helped us find a great river cruise and told us how to walk to the Reed Flute Cave, both of which are well worth it. It's in a cute village with good places to eat (one restaurant accepts Visa). The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfasts are fantastic and very healthy.

The whole experience was amazing. Location is the best in Guilin. Remote but on a lake and lovely to walk around it first thing in the morning or early evening. Both Melody and Cheng couldn’t have been more helpful. They assisted with trips, taxis and great advice. I also had an oil massage in my room and the therapist Huan was amazing. I wish I could have stayed longer. The building itself is very modern right on the waters edge. I will definitely be back as I found it most relaxing.

The staff was so friendly and hospitable, he even invited us for a BBQ with his friends and we had such a wonderful evening! He also brought our suitcases upstairs to our room and cut some watermelon for us, when we arrived. The room was very cosy and clean and had all the facilties you need. It’s located in a very beautiful neighbourhood, which is very calm and cosy at night! We had a lovely view of the mountains from our window. You can ask him anything you need and he arrange it for you, like a beautiful private tour with a English speaking driver to the Longji Rice Terraces, fixing the tandem bike to a perfect hight, so we could cycle in the city, and a taxi to our train. Even though he could speak English very well, we could communicate very well via translate!

Superb location, very central on the river and a few minutes walk from Elephant Hill and the Sun and Moon pagodas, which I could see from the room. Booked a balcony room which had a huge bath overlooking the views, well appointed, modern and clean with some lovely little touches and soft bedlinen. The rooftop has stunning views and a couple of tables. Lots of restaurants and bars nearby. Staff super helpful.

Great place to stay. Jerry was the best, he helped arrange our boat trip and also helped us get back to Guilin when we were lost. Also, helped us sort out our tourist SIM. Great guy.
