Everything was excellent. The stuff was super nice and they immediately bring us some bigger casserole and pan and good knife for cooking. The room is very big and super clean. Cleaning service is excellent too. They clean every morning. We will for sure use Somerset serviced apartments again. The position is very nice just in front of big shopping mall with nice Ole supermarket inside and lot of restaurants too

Sea view room had excellent views towards Gulangyu, with information of the monuments you can see, as well as some paper and coloured pencils to draw. The decoration is quirky and fun, making reference to the culture and history of Xiamen. Location is very good, close to Zhongshan Rd and short taxi drive to Nanputuo and Xiamen Uni. The hotel receptionist, Lydia Li (guest service manager), was extremely nice and helpful, aiding us to book a tour to the Nanjing Tulou, and was very attentive as well during our stay.

Set in a heritage building over 100 years old, the exterior preserves its historic German castle charm, while the interior surprises with modern, boutique design and creative touches throughout. The peaceful atmosphere makes it the perfect retreat, blending history with contemporary comfort. Special thanks to September (九月) for her exceptional and attentive service—she made our stay truly memorable and make up the extra points for whatever is lacking to win my 5 star rating. Breakfast top up is worth it for the convenience and comfort, not a huge spread, however expect quality homely breakfast with food like soya bean milk, roasted sweet potatoes, I like their German ham. In short, Highly recommended for anyone seeking a unique, out of the beaten track and tranquil experience in Xiamen! They are new on booking.com , hence you will not get much review. These guys will do well once it gets popular, so do go before it gets way too crowded.
