I have visited Costa Rica several times, but here I really experienced Costa Rica. The real charm of the place is that it is in a forest full of monkeys and other animals and really close to the river!! The location is excellent because unlike the noisy Santa Teresa and Monteza Zuma, here are the only gas station and supermarket in the whole area and other necessary things, but you are completely in the forest and it is not noticeable. The house is about a 10-15 minute drive to any destination you choose in the area. The house itself is very spacious and clean, I didn't need more than that. Our host Liz was very friendly and helped us with everything. We will be back!

Highly Recommend! WOW! Our stay at ICO Living Hostel in Santa Teresa was unforgettable. We booked the apartment, and it was perfect—amazing balcony, spacious outdoor kitchen, and a chill area that made it feel like our own tropical paradise. We even had regular visits from monkeys and iguanas, which felt totally unreal! The staff were exceptional—so friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist. They made us feel right at home, and the ambience was laid-back and welcoming, perfect for relaxing or meeting other travelers. Thank you so much - Marco, Augustin and Brandon! The location is unbeatable—close to everything, 5 minutes walk from the beach and local restaurants. Honestly, ICO Living Hostel is the only place I’d stay in Santa Teresa. Don’t hesitate. Very comfortable loft! Every day the room was cleaned. Baby bed was available. Owner responded very quick on everything and was very friendly. Breakfast was served at a local café (La Glida) which is a 10min walk or 3 min drive with the car. When this one was closed an even nicer breakfast alternative was offered. Swimingpool was nice to cool down at the end of the day. Santa Teresa is a place where you can easily stay a week. There are lots of things to discover around, especially if you have a car. We stayed 4 nights.
