it was amazing! we loved our fantastic villa with a beautiful interior, lots of space, en suite barhrooms and a wonderful patio. The pool was incredible with a spectacular view, we used the sauna and enjoyed the pool the whole afternoon. We have stayed in 6 different accomodations in Costa Rica and this was by far the best! we are travelling with children and it was very convenient that the food was served in our accomodation!

Really great authentic, high quality dinner and also breakfast; the rooms (bungalows) are much more beautiful than the pictures are showing - really nice rooms with everything you need. the surroundings are very quiet with a beautiful garden; the owners are more than friendly and helpful! Monteverde and Santa Elena is good reachable in a short drive. We would come to Rancho de Lelo again for sure!! Thank you for everything!

The villa is located in the countryside and so every moment is filled with fresh air, butterflies and bird song. Sitting in the hot tub looking across the cloud-filled hills is a treat not to be missed. The villa itself was spacious, immaculately clean and had everything you need, thoughtfully provided by the owners, including a dehumidifier, Netflix, a kettle etc. The attractions of Santa Elena and Monteverde are close by and are easily accessible. Communication with the owners was excellent - friendly and helpful throughout. This is a wonderful villa and we highly recommend it.

Everything you need and more! The host is wonderful, so nice and accommodating. We were able to tour the property to see all sorts of beautiful birds and monkeys, plus she offered some fresh vegetables from her huge garden and made delicious breakfast. It’s super close to the park with multiple point of views of the way. Fully equipped house with comfy beds in the middle of pure nature!

Carlos carlos carlos...he is as amazing host as the place! We love them all the same.. and also his wife Elena. If you don't stay here you're missing out on life! We didn't want to leave this place. Oh by the way the food was also lovely. He knows what is spicy what you ask him what is spicy! Don't go without the argentina pizza and cas juice! The views from the A frame house were great. We spotted monkeys and toucans from our deck. The property manager was very easily contactable. House was clean and well maintained.
