Everything was fantastic, can't fault a single thing about this hotel. The setting at the restaurant is what dreams are made of. As we sat down to have lunch on our first day there was a sloth climbing down a tree with the volcano in the background.

This hotel and thermal resort is beautiful. The staff was friendly and attentive, making our stay truly enjoyable. The room was comfortable, and the thermal baths were amazing - so relaxing! This is an amazing place! The houses are scattered through the grounds, so your only neighbours will be hummingbirds and monkeys. The room was spotless clean, comfortable, and equipped with everything you need, including a small stove and some essential ingredients (oil, salt, pepper, coffee). The gardens are beautiful, with wonderful views of the volcanoe, frog ponds, a small labyrinth, and several shaded seating areas. Best of all, there are a few trails leading through the forest, one of which goes by a small waterfall in which you can bathe. As it is on private grounds there are not many people around, I had the trails all to myself. I absolute loved it and would have stayed longer if I could!

The staff here were amazing. They were always so helpful and polite and very patient with explanations. Everyone customer-facing spoke excellent English. The room was spacious and very comfortable, with a large shower. Each room stands alone and has a small table outside with a view of the volcano (can't miss it!). The best thing is the bar/spa/hots springs area... Wow! Awesome pools with hot spring water and mini waterfalls. There's loads of wildlife milling around (hundreds of birds and lizards including giant iguanas and we even saw armadillos).
