Firstly, check in info was given ahead of time over Whatsapp with videos, pictures and codes which was extremely useful as we arrived pretty late and in the dark. The location is good, a short walk to the beach, literally behind a good little supermarket, some good restuarants nearby, good parking, secure feeling. Room ws a good size with fairly well equipped kitchen, good air con, pretty good shower, full size fridge, good wifi. Bed slat did fall out during our stay but thats about all I can fault with it! Good sized balcony overlooking the pool, pool was cleaned daily, although didn't go in it.

The amazing staff was the best part of Villa del Sol by far - especially Kattia! Overall the hotel was beautiful, with a great pool and fantastic landscape with a tropical feel. Woke up to hear monkeys both days! And liked the hotel and Playa del Coco so much I decided to stay longer.

The property was absolutely stunning. we felt privileged to stay in such a please of beauty. However, even more amazing were the staff. the property is beautiful, but the staff are excellent. Every single one was charming, friendly, welcoming, helpful and very kind. Roy especially was great.

Beautiful location right on the beach, perfect after an 11 hour flight from the UK! Lots of option at breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as freshly cooked takeaway snacks throughout the day which include pizza, fajitas etc. Small kids play area including a climbing wall and little house perfect for our 3 year old. 2 large pools for relaxing throughout the day. We really enjoyed our stay and would come back!

Really loved The Palm! Staff was beyond courteous and friendly. From Luis, Stevie at check-in, to the office manager Zaida (sorry if I misspelled), the restaurant staff is excellent too, especially one of the waiters who's name I forgot ("Jean"-something, sorry! With the tattoos). My room took a few hours after check-in to be ready, but I understand working in the industry myself. The staff was more than friendly to accommodate my wait, offered me drinks, which was not needed but appreciated. The pool area is so chill, I did not expect to spend as much time as I did there. Didn't even dip in, it's just a nice atmosphere with relaxed restaurant staff. The restaurant menu was also excellent, a mix of American and Costa Rican fair. I will definitely be back at The Palm if I come back to Coco.
