We had an amazing time with lovely Leo and all the staff .They made us gorgeous breakfasts every morning and helped us book tours. The night time frog tour was magical. We slept very well in the cosy beds and he was very quiet. Beautiful scenery and views of the volcano. It is worth having a car. Definitely recommend!

La Roca Negra is like staying in paradise! The wildlife is amazing, particularly the birds. I saw dozens of species, just walking around, including many humming birds, tanegers, and a white hawk. I also spotted a family of agouti. When the weather clears there is also a view of the volcano.

The hotel was lovely. Our room was stand-alone, with a private terrace and jacuzzi. Everything was very clean, and the reception and restaurant staff friendly and helpful. We frequently walked to the centre which took about 20 minutes.

Amazing place just outside La Fortuna. Really quiet, perfectly harmonized with Nature, without sacrificing comfortable amenities. Everything was great, from the lovely breakfast full of homemade delicacies, to the comfortable rooms and beautiful surroundings. This was the best and most amazing place I ever stayed !! The little house was very cute, middle of the jungle, fully with the animals ! The people where so friendly and helpful. The restaurant at the property was delicious and the night walk we did there was incredible. Loved it and already miss it
