Your must stay if you’re visiting La Fortuna. Leo is one of the most genuine and kindest people we have ever met, nothing was too much trouble. You can tell he works so hard and he really made out stay. The highlight of our stay was the free evening night tours round their beautiful garden at the end of the property. Leo showed us various frogs, birds and insects and then told us about them. Make sure you go back in the day too! Each morning we sat and watched the birds while Leo explained what each one was, followed by a fantastic breakfast. The rooms are very spacious and very clean with every appliance you could possibly need and a private sheltered parking space. We would 100% return, we cannot thank Leo enough for such a great stay.

The place felt brand new and our stay there was incredibly comfortable. Also the hosts were very friendly, I mentioned that I’d love to see a sloth and the next morning they actually pointed me to a sloth in the nearby trees. Also the breakfast was a great surprise and their garden is gorgeous! Loved to have a kitchen area as well.

Great service, amazing food with many ingredients grown at the same facilities (eggs, fish, coffee, etc.). Comfortable rooms and a feeling of contact with nature. I loved to fall asleep with the sound of the river at night.

This is the best resort i have stayed for the past few years and i travel extensively. Staffs are very kind and sincere, not overwelming for an introvert. My dome is very beautifully designed, spotless inside and out. Not to mention their holistic approach on the whole syntropic farm, three meals at the restaurant are farm to table. I saw sloths! toucans! on so many hikes by myself and with guides. All informative hikes.

The bird tour run by Paolo was one of the highlights of our trip to Costa Rica. The conditions weren't perfect -, low cloud and some drizzle - but we were still able to see and learn a lot with Pablos patience and guidance. The night tour was also a success very imformative. We had lunch and dinner at the lodge the 3 days we were there. They offered a good selection of well prepared meals so this was not a problem.
